RICS Red Book Valuations

There are many reasons why you may require a valuation of a property: if you are mortgaging your home, borrowing money that you need to secure against the property’s value, matrimonial purposes or settling a probate matter.

A valuation will establish the market value of your property.

These Red Book Valuations include:

  • Loan security and finance
  • Taxation (IHT, CGT, SDLT and business rates)
  • Company accounts and partnership assets
  • Pension funds including SIPPs and SSASs
  • Matrimonial
  • Expert witness
  • Acquisition and disposal
  • Dispute resolution and compensation
  • Qualified Surveyors Reports (Charities Act)
  • Inheritance Tax and Probate of house contents
All of our valuers are qualified Chartered Surveyors, accredited by the RICS as Registered Valuers, with many valuers also being Fellows of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV) and/or Members of the Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers (ISVA).
