A hot sunny three days made 2014 another successful event for this premier Hampshire Show. A full gate of local visitors and holiday makers, a variety of ring side events and more trade stands and displays than last year around the site made sure that there was plenty for the visitors to enjoy. We returned to our corner ring side location in the East Ring giving our guests a special view of the displays therein – including Classic Farm Vehicles, the Heavy Horse Musical Ride, motorbike display, inter hunt races and the Grand Parade of cattle and sheep. A constant stream of visitors came to see our display and generally talk of property and inter-related matters and we can report that our through put was better than previous years. Clearly the public like to talk about property, mainly residential but also many rural enquiries on land values. It was also pleasing to think that the public now expect and know that Woolley & Wallis have a stand at this Show and visit us as a matter of norm rather than as a matter of curiosity. In addition to our full display of property and services our stand showed examples of photography and art (courtesy of KISMET) as also was Andrew Donald’s Pennyfarthing cycle on show back from his epic ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats where he raised £15,000 for charity. Again our next show will be at the Ellingham & Ringwood on Saturday 9 August.
