The sun shone, smiling crowds flocked in and a highly successful agricultural show was held at the Turnpike Showground on Wednesday 20 August 2014.
Woolley & Wallis were positioned in their usual prime position overlooking the main arena and welcomed almost record number of guests to their marquee. This year, with a larger and much more impressive stand, clients both existing and new, friends and family were able to enjoy light refreshments, homemade cake and a glass of fizz during the day whilst enjoying the entertainment in the main ring.
Woolley & Wallis, continuing their long standing tradition, sponsored the Hampshire Down sheep classes. The breed champion was won by Mr & Mrs J Barnard with their Ram Lamb.
Rob Bishop of Woolley & Wallis Finance was exhibiting his pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle and won the breed championship with a 5 year old cow called Warrenho Juliette Erica and this is the fifth year running that they have won the breed Championship.
Jonathan Young, who organised the stand for the firm, said “ we are immensely privileged to live and work in such a great rural community and the Show is always a highlight of the year, we are delighted to see so many people come to our stand and take the time to speak to all of us. We have an exceptional team and I was proud of how hard everyone worked and in such a cheerful atmosphere.”
We look forward to welcoming you to our stand at next years show which will be on Wednesday 19th August 2015
