Allison Barfoot, a letting agent at Woolley & Wallis in Shaftesbury, has achieved the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFoPP) QCF Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management.
The Technical Award, which is a nationally recognised industry qualification, meets the Association of Residential Letting Agents’ (ARLA) membership requirements for those looking to join the Association as a member agent. ARLA is the UK’s foremost professional body for letting agents. It aims to promote better regulation and higher practice standards in the UK private rented sector.
Allison Barfoot has been working as a letting agent at Woolley & Wallis for four and a half years.
Allison Barfoot of Woolley & Wallis comments: “It was important for me to secure this recognised qualification as a letting agent. It is not only a personal achievement but also a mark of professionalism and trust; it provides reassurance to tenants dealing with Woolley & Wallis that the agency adheres to the highest professional standards, and that employees are qualified and knowledgeable letting agents.”
Woolley & Wallis is among a growing number of agents across the UK working with ARLA and the NFoPP Awarding Body to become qualified and raise standards within the industry.
Melfyn Williams, Chair of the Governing Body, adds: “The NFoPP QCF Level 3 Technical Award is a regulated qualification ideal for candidates wanting to improve existing knowledge in the key areas related to residential letting and property management. The NFoPP Awarding Body is committed to raising standards within the residential letting and property management sector through the provision of accredited, nationally recognised qualifications, such as the Technical Award Allison has achieved.”
David Cox, Managing Director of ARLA, concludes: “I congratulate Allison on her achievement of the Level 3 qualification.
ARLA is the UK’s foremost professional and regulatory body for letting agents; representing over 7,700 members. Our members operate to professional standards far higher than the law demands and we campaign for greater regulation in this growing and increasingly important sector of the property market. By using an ARLA Licensed agent, consumers have the peace of mind their agent will provide a professional service and their money is safeguarded by a Client Money Protection scheme.
