An international currency exchange operator has taken a prominent glazed corner unit at the junction of Silver Street and the High Street. Following receipt of planning permission for a change of use to A2, the tenant, No.1 Currency is currently fitting out the unit and is due to open its doors shortly in time for the summer holiday season. The company has over 40 units across the country.
Letting agent Rob Horton of Woolley & Wallis commented “We are delighted to have secured No.1 Currency for our clients. The unit lends itself perfectly to their requirements being situated in such a prominent position and of an ideal size for the use.”
The premises provide a ground floor sales area of 428 sq ft with return frontage to the High Street together with ancillary accommodation on the first and second floor totalling 519 sq ft. Jones Granville acted for the tenant.
