Woolley & Wallis will be attending the Dairy Show at the Royal Bath & West Showground at Shepton Mallet in Somerset on Wednesday 4th October 2017. The stand will, as usual, be situated overlooking the main showing ring in the Showering Pavilion.
This year has seen a marked upturn and renaissance in the dairy industry with higher milk prices and a bumper year for grass silage and top quality hay. Confidence has returned to the marketplace and this is borne out by an entry of over 300 high pedigree dairy cattle representing the six main breeds. Can you name them?
Richard Nocton, Partner in Woolley & Wallis’ Marlborough office said “we look forward to this show as being a real highlight of the year. It is an excellent opportunity to meet dairy farmers who have a forward looking approach and a positive attitude. With some producers now receiving over 30 pence per litre, this gives a real chance for investment and consolidation.”
He went on to say “we welcome everyone to our stand where we will have a number of experienced staff able to give advice on planning, property, finance and grants. We can also offer you a “little cheer” and some fruit cake!”
