Marcle Ridge wins the Woolley & Wallis Conditions Race

Marcle Ridge made virtually all of the running to win the Woolley & Wallis Conditions Race for owner Clive Bennett and his trainer/jockey Sam Jukes. Despite being challenged by both Portrait King and Knockaderry Flyer he stayed on very gamely on the run to record a victory by a length. Bred by Clive he is named after a ridge which Clive said ‘I can see out of my kitchen window’.

Sophie Clotworthy who presented the prizes to the winning owner and Sam Jukes who trains and rides Marcle Ridge, commented “We are delighted to once again support the Larkhill Racing Club Point to Point which always provides an excellent day of competitive racing and an wonderful family day out. We were thrilled to see so many friends and clients throughout the day and offer them a winter warmer from the Woolley & Wallis gazebo.”
