Notice for February 2018 Twitter/Facebook Competition

Woolley & Wallis is the promoter of this competition.

Terms & conditions

1.    How to Enter

Twitter

1.1. To enter the competition on Twitter entrants will need to retweet one of the clearly labelled competition posts, or tag another person whom they would like to enter the competition. Entrants must use the hashtag #WinASpringClean.

1.2. The winner will be selected at random.

1.3 The competition is no way endorsed by Twitter.

Facebook

1.1. To enter the competition on Facebook entrants will need to comment on one of the clearly labelled competition posts. Entrants must use the hashtag #WinASpringClean.

1.2. The winner will be selected at random.

1.3    The competition is no way endorsed by Facebook.

2.    When to Enter and Who Can Enter

2.1. The Competition opens at 12.01am on Monday 12th March 2018 and runs until 11.59pm Sunday 25th March 2018.

2.2. Entrants can enter at any point between these dates.

2.3. Entrants can enter the competition as many times as they like.

2.4. To qualify to enter the Competition you must live in the United Kingdom.

2.5. Employees of Woolley & Wallis and their immediate families, persons connected with the competition/prize draw and their immediate families i.e. prize sponsors, introducers, reseller & their agents are not eligible to enter the Competition.

2.6. By entering the Competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. Woolley & Wallis reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants

2.7. Woolley & Wallis assumes that by reading the publication or by using the website and entering the Competition (and you warrant that) you are aged 18 or over and have consented to your entry into the Competition and these Rules.

2.8. Woolley & Wallis reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the Rules.

2.9. In the event that any entrant is disqualified from the Competition, Woolley & Wallis in its sole discretion may decide whether a replacement should be selected. In this event, any further entrant will be selected on the same criteria as the original entrant and will be subject to these Rules.

Prizes

3.1. The prize for winning the competition will be up to £200 towards payment for a spring clean as specified on the competition notices (tweets and posts). The competition winner must choose a cleaning company and Woolley & Wallis will pay for the services, up to a value of £200.

3.2. Prizes are non–transferable and there is no cash alternative. Woolley & Wallis reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.

4.    Data Protection and Publicity

4.1. You consent to your surname, photograph and basic information about you being disclosed on Woolley & Wallis’s digital channels or other media if you win any Prizes under the Competition

4.2. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation. By entering the Competition, you agree that Woolley & Wallis may contact you in relation to the Competition

4.3. Competition winners will be contacted by Woolley & Wallis. You must provide accurate contact details on notification.

4.4. Woolley & Wallis reserve the right to use the voice, image, photograph, name and likeness of the winners for publicity and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice to the winners. In entering the Competition, all participants consent to such use of their voice, image, photograph, name and likeness.

5.    Competition Rules

5.1. The Competition will be run and Prizes will be awarded at Woolley & Wallis’s sole discretion. The Competition winner must pass the Woolley & Wallis application process to qualify for the Prize.

5.3. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Woolley & Wallis’s website and services, and to refuse entry into the Competition

5.4. We reserve the right to change the Competition rules and these Terms and Conditions from time to time. If we do so, we will always have the most up to date terms and conditions on the Website and in the case of a discrepancy between these terms and conditions and those on the Website, the Website terms and conditions will apply. Your continued use of the website will constitute your acceptance of the new rules and/or Terms and Conditions

5.5. All intellectual property rights in the images and materials on the Website, and used in the services provided by Woolley & Wallis and no person may make any use of them without Woolley & Wallis’s express permission.

6.    Liability and Indemnities

6.1. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, Woolley & Wallis and its associated companies and agents and distributors exclude responsibility and all liabilities, whether direct or indirect, arising from:

6.1.1. any postponement or cancellation of the Competition;

6.1.2. any changes to, supply of or use of the Prize; and

6.1.3. any act or default of any supplier, which are beyond Woolley & Wallis’s reasonable control.

6.2. Woolley & Wallis does not accept responsibility for any liability arising from technical incompatibility, problems relating to the internet, or technical difficulties of any kind

6.3. Woolley & Wallis shall not be liable, whether in tort, contract, misrepresentation or otherwise for loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goods, loss of use, loss or corruption of data or information, or any special, indirect, consequential or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses

6.4. You agree to indemnify Woolley & Wallis against all liabilities, claims and expenses that may arise from any breach of your agreement with Woolley & Wallis.

7.    Jurisdiction

7.1. The Competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law. England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
