Buildings are expensive to construct, acquire and maintain. When problems arise the financial consequences can be serious. Taking proper advice at the appropriate time is important, and can prevent or mitigate problems and expense both in the short and long term.
Where the cause of a defect in a building is not immediately apparent thorough investigation may be required before the correct repair can be undertaken. Inappropriate repairs are at least a waste of time and money and at worst can actually cause further damage to the building and/or aggravate the original defect.
We will:
- inspect and where necessary test and experiment to identify the cause of a problem;
- research as necessary and propose suitable repairs;
- prepare sketches, drawings and specifications;
- obtain builders estimates for the recommended work;
- monitor the repair work in progress.
