Further to recent Government advice we feel it appropriate to close our offices and move our teams to working from home during these difficult times. Proposed development at Forest Farm, Pewsham

Gleeson Developments Ltd have submitted a planning application for 50,000 sq ft of employment space and 200 homes as a first phase of a proposed development at Forest Farm, Pewsham, Chippenham, where Woolley & Wallis are advising the landowners. Meanwhile the Inspector closed the Chippenham Site Allocations Plan Examination during its second day because of his serious concerns about deliverability of Wiltshire Council’s proposed allocated sites on the east side of Chippenham.

Jonathan Young commented “Chippenham is one of Wiltshire’s three Principal Settlements. Wiltshire Council’s strategy is to make the town more self-contained by enabling significant job growth. Forest Farm offers a sustainable location for new development on the east side of the Chippenham, where there is currently negligible employment opportunity, and does not require major engineering works to enable access”.
