The Local Plan review will set out a vision and framework for Wiltshire for the period to 2038, addressing housing needs and other economic, social, and environmental priorities.
The plan will address the need for new homes (including market, affordable and specialist housing), employment land and infrastructure provision. During the review, assessments will ensure that the existing development strategy remains relevant, consistent, and aligned with government policy and new development sites will be identified.
The public consultation on the Pre-Submission draft of the Wiltshire Local Plan review commences on 27 September and ends on 22 November.
Staff at Woolley & Wallis are well-versed in town planning and have been monitoring the draft plan’s progress as it heads to examination by an Inspector next year.
Anyone with land or property who thinks they may benefit by making representations on the draft plan or even wishes to discuss their position is welcome to make contact.
