Drive through Wilton and when you reach Barford St Martin turn right onto the B3089 to Hindon and Mere. About a mile after you leave the village you will pass a tractor garage on the left, closely followed by The Penruddocke Arms. Immediately after the pub and before you start to go up the hill onto the railway bridge, fork left onto the private lane. The entrance to Penruddocke Cottage is about 50 yards down on the left. If you reach the village of Dinton on the main road you have gone too far, turn back until you see the pub and then turn immediately right.
