Romsey, a delightful old market town has retained much of its original character and provides an excellent range of amenities for everyday needs. Facilities include a range of individual shops, schools, leisure facilities, doctors and dentist surgeries and public transport by way of bus and rail services. The M27 can be accessed at junction 3, about 3 1/2 miles distant. The major centres of Salisbury, Southampton, Winchester and Portsmouth are all easily accessed.
A long high brick wall defines the front boundary with wrought iron gates giving access over the stone driveway. The driveway runs to the front door, offers ample parking and extends to the South end of the grounds where a brick built double garage can be found. The private gardens are mature, well stocked and well cared for. A tributary of the River Test runs through the grounds with a quaint bridge that sets the scene. A heated swimming pool with paving stone and low brick wall surrounds is made private with flowering shrubs and bushes.
