Limited Building Reports

Our Chartered Surveyors can prepare a variety of shorter Reports tailored to suit your requirements. For example;

Defect Report

A Specific Defect Report entails a thorough assessment of one or more specific items which concern you, such as dampness, woodworm or structural movement.

We can report on a house you are purchasing, or one you already own.

Snagging list

A Snagging List is a list of defects relating to a new-build home, often required to identify any shortcomings. Items might include anything from missing screws to poorly installed window frames for example.

An independent and impartial snagging list usually compels a Developer to address such items prior to completion.

Schedule of Condition

A Schedule of Condition is a record of the condition of a property, often required at the start of a commercial lease for example, to ensure that you do not later find yourself responsible for pre-existing defects.

Or at the end of a lease to ensure an outgoing Tenant complies with his or her repairing liability.

A Significant Defect Report

A Significant Defect Report is similar to a Level 2 Home Survey or a Level 3 Building Survey but as the name suggests, describes only significant aspects of disrepair rather than being fully detailed.

Or Chartered Surveyors will discuss and agree the extent of your requirements before they inspect the property.
