SITUATION
Love Lane is located on the edge of the village of Marnhull, famously known as ‘Marlot’ in Thomas Hardy’s novel, Tess of the D’Urbervilles. Reportedly the largest village in Dorset, Marnhull lies in the Blackmore Vale, an area of outstanding natural beauty with amenities including, a doctors surgery, two convenience stores, a family run Butcher, hairdresser and two Public houses. The nearby small town of Stalbridge offers an award winning family run supermarket ‘Dikes’ with bakery and cafe, Post Office, Pharmacy, Vets, Library and Primary School. The nearby towns of Shaftesbury and Gillingham offer Doctors surgeries and a selection of larger supermarkets. The area offers a wide choice of well-regarded state and private Primary and Secondary Schools as well as many leisure activities and clubs. Transport links are very good with a mainline railway station in Gillingham and the A303 a short drive away.

DIRECTIONS
From the Crown Inn on the B3092 turn onto Church Hill towards the centre of the village. Turn right at the bottom of the hill onto Pilwell, then left onto Nash lane. After 400 m turn left onto Love Lane. The entrance is on the left at the next right hand bend.
